It is also a bit longer by about a cm than the 92. I prefer the length, but I have big hands. The 92 is still perfectly usable for me. The 92 is a piston filler. It holds a lot more ink, although the 74 can use the CON-70 converter, which is hard to get to fill but once you do it has a lot of capacity.
